The objective of these proceedings is to provide a state of the art of High Performance Computing strategy applied in Computational Fluid Dynamics.

High Performance Computing (HPC) can be obtained either by increasing the computing power or by means of very efficient algorithms. Therefore, methodology and performance of intensive calculation related to recent progresses in parallel CFD and sequencing techniques as well as new HPC technologies are pointing out.

Experts coming from the scientific, industrial and technological communities discuss their day-to-day experience in generating and handling Mega-Cell-Mesh, in Peta Flops Simulation as well as in processing and visualization of Terabyte Data.

Lecture notes are devoted to complex situations involving massive DNS-LES simulation, unsteady 3D turbulent flows for turbomachinery and aerodynamic applications. Moreover, field of aero engines and aircraft design, atmospheric reentry vehicles, industrial processes and structural
mechanics problems are also covered.
